Happy new year to those who read my blog =D although this entry is abit late. haha.. Planned to write this entry yesterday but ended up watching vcd and singing karaoke the whole day - got to make full use of the last night with my cousin before sch starts. haha.. Oh well.. Celebrated new year eve in my dad's company dinner & dance held in Regent Hotel. Quite a number of people missing on my table this yr - friends who aren't able to make it, one of the members of our Lim's F4 group, and my baobei. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed myself with the rest of my cousins and friends.
Spending around 4 hours preparing (making up and tying of hair - make up artist was being called in to my house), all of us were finally dolled up and ready to party. Liang jia ban was being invited to be the emcee for the night - this made most of us to be really excited. Dinner for the night includes international buffet (western, chinese, indian, halal) and of course, desserts. Main emcee for the event was Mark Lee. So all the way from 8 till 12 something, activities were being organised by them - including singing, some games, countdown and last but not least, disco. The event actually ends at 2am but all the ming xing left the place at around 12.30am (after the countdown) and leaving the dancefloor to us.
So after seeing my friends off, I headed to the dancefloor to join my cousins. On the dancefloor, there are only a total of 7 of us. haha.. Oh well, since they only know how to play technos, we've got no choice but to request for songs to be played. Technos are just some rubbish and noisy sound effects - I dont regard them as songs. So the DJs were playing the music specially for us. Cool leh.. Everyone was looking at us when we were on the dancefloor. So that kinda makes us the performers lor. But the number of audience didnt last - people started leaving as time pass. haha.. We left the place at about 1.45am and at that instance, I thought I was crippled. Couldnt even feel my toes man.. So me and my cousin, Sophia, were like limping all the way from the ballroom to the car. At that time, I really hope that someone would carry me to the car so I dont need to walk. haha.. okok.. enough said, pictures below.
