Oh man.. Today is the 25th September already, which means I'm only left with 6 days of "holidays". What did I do last week? Nothing much actually. Wasting oxygen most of the time. Haha.. Went to ICT for 3 days and spent the other days watching Guess Guess Guess. I'm addicted to it lor. That Jacky Wu is so funny and entertaining. And Rainie is so cute and pretty as well. How I wish I have half of her 'pretty-ness'. Haha.. Anyway, I just found out that Li Sheng Jie is quite shuai. Didn't know how he look like until today. When I first saw him in one of the episode in Guess x3, I was like 'OMG!!! He looked abit like Jerry leh'. Haha. Btw, his songs are also really nice. Hmm.. was planning to start reading the assignment specs for my Mobile Computing assignment which is due in about 1 week time. But when I was about to start, I felt very sian suddenly. So didn't manage to do anything with it at the moment. Haha.. Cos it's essay and that is why I didn't have the motivation to start on it. If it's some practical work, maybe I'll have some mood to do it.

Actually I find that my life here is pretty boring. There's alot of things I wanna do lor but just that time don't allow me to do so. My time is all packed with assignments, nothing but assignments. Somemore I have some shitty group members in one of my project. Please lor.. don't think I keep quiet or look like small girl so you can take advantage of me. Kns. I hate it lor.. Cos of my build and my looks, I get bullied/taken advantage of easily. Hmp!!!! Ang moh so what! Big deal ah. Ang moh also human what, nothing to be afraid of. 你不要老虎不发挥就把我当病猫 (ni bu yao lao hu bu fa hui/wei, jiu ba wo dang bing mao). Haha.. Find this phrase familiar?? Yes, it's taken from liu xing hua yuan. But I don't know whether I got the wordings right or not. Ok, back to that stupid ang moh. I can't tolerate anymore lor. She only knows how to talk and talk but don't know how to produce any work. Somemore she's the team leader of my group lor. If that's how a team functions, then fine. All of us will also just talk and talk. As for the work leh, let our hao xiong di do for us. In other words, let the ghost do the work for us. And as for another guy in the same group (also ang moh), I think we ought to present him with a medal titled 'Champion of excuse'. Can't stand him also lor. When he was assigned with some work to do or sometimes he volunteered to do some work, he sure won't get it done on time one. Confirm guarantee plus chop. Know what he'll do?? He'll find excuses for the work that is/are not done. Excuses include 'I was sick.','Leader emailed me to notify me the work last minute. So I don't have time to do', 'I was admitted to the hospital' etc. Don't know how true that is lor. These two people right, I don't know whether they have some kind of relationship or not cos they are always helping each other to suo hao hua lor. And also, they take turns to get sick one lor. I wonder whether they are really so weak or not. One semester (around 3 months) can get sick for don't know how many thousand times lor. It's frustrating and irritating to have such people as group members and especially when the project last throughout the semester. A.M only knows how to talk but when it comes to ground work, they are just like a piece of shit. Hai~~ This applies to most of them lor. Good ones right - I only met like one or two only. They are hopeless man. Sporeans are still the best. Haha.. But it also depends lah. Some sporeans are so kiasu and kiasi that they'll only find you if they need help from you. And once they accomplished something or when assignments are given back, the boasting machine in them will be operated. But if you need help from them, they'll avoid you as if they have disappear into thin air. I also have one 'friend' who is like that.

Well, I guess good people are hard to find nowadays. Especially good guys. Haha.. Heard a song 'zuo ni de nan ren' by zhang xing zhe. The song might take awhile to load. The guy in the song is so good lor. Hmm.. Good guys are either attached or are gays. That is why it's hard to find one today. Haha.. Oh well, I'm talking rubbish. Haha..

Oh ya.. Anybody who are reading this wanna go for Jolin's concert?? I want to go leh.. Not to see her but to see Jerry cos Jerry is her guest I think. Hehe.. The concert is on 13th Oct 8.30pm at Entertainment Centre. Tickets are priced $68, $88, $118. One of my wish is to see Jerry in person lor..Although I went to his F4 Fantasy concert but then that time my seat was so far away from the stage. Can only see ants walking around on the stage lor - so have to see them using binoculars or through the big screen. So this time, if I'm going, I wanna take the $118 one. But that is only if I'm going lah.

Well, I'm having my mid-sem break now - 2 weeks of holidays. Yay!! But actually it's one week plus only cos have to go back to school for 4 days to conduct some usability testing for my Industrial project. Sian man~ Have to sacrifice. Just finished conducting the test on 4 participants yesterday - quite funny to observe how people go through the online enrolment site. The usability testing that my group is conducting is about how user-friendly this online enrolment for Melb Uni (which will be implemented in 2008) is. Most of them are quite familiar with the enrolment steps cos they're current students. We intended to test the system out on high school students and international students but who know none of them replied to our email. Our effort of spending one whole day collecting email addresses from people on Melb Uni's Open Day was wasted lor. It's not easy going around asking people for their details and I hate doing that. I don't like approaching strangers. haha. But no choice.

Anyway, time past really fast. I'm graduating soon. Thinking back of the times when I held my farewell party (and that was in beginning of 2003), and friends seeing me off in the airport for the very 1st time. 3 yrs plus has gone already. Now, those who are working had gone working already, those going Uni had gone studying in Uni, those going NS had gone to NS already (at least for some). Throughout these 3 yrs plus, I've learnt quite alot - learnt to be independent, to do almost everything by myself, to be strong, not to trust people too easily, scold people when there's a need to, meet all kinds of people (includes those who are helpful, ppl who are alot older than me, ppl who are cunning, ppl who knows how to 'act', backstabbers etc). I've also learnt to speak more although only to people whom I'm comfortable with and most importantly, I've learnt how to cook but only limited dishes. haha.

Anyway, I've celebrated my 20th birthday few weeks ago. This year's celebration is somehow different from the past few years. Quite a 隆重 celebration but also not extremely 隆重 lah. haha. It was held in the function room below my apartment. My parents, and parents' friends flew from Sg to Melb to attend this celebration. Not forgetting my friends who also attended. Although I'm abit late is saying this, I still wanna thanks all those who came to celebrate my birthday with me. Without you all, my birthday celebration wont be a success. A big thank you to Auntie Margaret, Irene, Uncle Brandon and my mum who cooked/prepared the dishes. Special thanks to my dad who took time off his work to attend my celebration (actually he cannot come one lor & I was quite sad), and also those uncles and aunties who took time off just to attend my celebration. hehe.. =D As promised, I'll upload pictures taken on that day. So I guess this entry will be super long. Be prepared! haha.

We started preparing at 10am (the clock was 10mins faster). Woke up this early to prepare the dishes, decorate the function room with balloons. It was fun though it can be quite tiring especially to those who are cooking.

At 6.30pm - 7pm, guests started coming in. Apart from SN and JR, my dad and his friends are the first to arrive. They came down from Crown Casino hotel. Next, it was Wendy who arrived.
